Leg number one of our journey is complete.  On our approach to Newark we could see the Freedom Tower from the air. It was an impressive sight.

We're sitting in the United Lounge in Newark waiting for our flight to Glasgow. It's going to be a long wait... But well worth it, I'm sure. I just hope we get some sleep on the plane tonight. Looking forward to posting some amazing photos starting with the Hawk Walk tomorrow.

    Mom- had the first portion of my interview with the Ritz today, second part is in person at 5 pm tomorrow. Suit is all pressed and ready! Have fun on the Hawk Walk, can't wait to see the photos!
